Rain Water Harvesting System
Philippines is one of the country in the region that experience huge number
of rainfalls in a year.  This natural resource can be harnessed free  and helps the country in good water management.
From an annual avarage rainfall collected from a 80 meter square roof, four people could wash clothes, wash cars, flush the toilets and maintain a garden. Rain water collection and reuse is beneficial for and the environment
*  Saves money by reducing utility water consumption

*  Be independent of the water utilities and water price increase

*  Soft rainwater is particularly good for your plants.  Contribute
actively to the environment and conserve our precious water
   supplies.

*  The sewerage system is eased, because some of the rain water
is collected and is not passed into sewer system.
Rainwater is collected in the roof and conveyed through the drains and piping to a cistern.  The collected rain water will be treated in a series of filtration system and  sterilization process.  The treated water can be used for toilets and urinals, laundry, car wash, irrigation, swimming pool and feed water for POU (Point of Use) water purifiers for drinking purposes.
Pre-Filtration Unit
The initial component of the Treatment Process is a filtration vessel that contains a filter basket that prevent dirt particles from entering the rainwater tank.
Multimedia Filter
A backwashable filtration unit which consists of a vessel containing graduated level of support and filter medias such as silica sand and anthracite to remove particles from water such as mud, silt and clay with a size of about 10 microns and larger. The unit is equipped with multiport valve or individual valves for periodic backwash to remove entrapped particulate matters.
Water Conditioning Unit
This unit is designed for partial removal of water hardness which is the common cause of white deposits in faucets' tip and utentils edges (commonly called as “calcification”). It also prevents scaling of the downstream reverse osmosis membranes fitted in water purifiers. The vessel is filled with a measured volume of cation ion exchange resin which is regenerated by a brine solution once exhausted.

Ultraviolet Light Sanitization Unit
When harvested rainwater needs to be designed for human consumption
and to prevent slime formation on downstream piping network, an inline
ultraviolet sanitization unit should be installed.
Activated Carbon Adsorption Unit
Activated carbon adsorption units remove residual disinfecting agents,
and other organic chemicals in the water by a molecular adsorption
process. It improves the taste of water and removes smell.
